Qualifications and education requirements:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for the successful management and supervision of assigned projects to ensure effective and accountable program administration.
- Prepare and develop project plans (detailed implementation plan, procurement plan, HR plan, budget plan, etc.).
- Ensure the effective implementation of the program/projects in line with contractual obligations, including all partner/donor policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Ensure that assigned projects are implemented in alignment with community and beneficiary needs.
- Ensure that assigned projects are executed with appropriate quality, based on relevant standards such as Sphere, CHS, CaLP, etc.
- Take full responsibility for managing project budgets, understanding financial reports, and handling financial matters.
- Manage the team effectively, ensuring fair and clear task distribution in coordination with the Program Manager.
- Ensure proper documentation and collection of program/project data in coordination with the Program Manager.
- Maintain appropriate communication with partners, donors, or funders in coordination with supervisors and managers within the program and partnerships department.
- Share information with donors, core and sub-sector groups, other NGOs, and coordination structures.
- Ensure proper risk management, including financial, safety, security, programmatic, and reputational risks.
- Ensure timely submission of all internal and external narrative and programmatic reports (weekly, monthly, interim, and final) to relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor project activities (procurement, payments, technical meetings, HR, partner meetings, activity implementation).
- Build the capacity of project teams in technical and administrative aspects based on training needs assessments.
- Conduct periodic/final evaluations of project teams according to approved templates in coordination with the HR department.
- Represent the program and organization in internal and external meetings as coordinated with the program management.
- Attend trainings as required by the Program Manager.
- Contribute to building the technical and administrative capacity of the field program team in coordination with the Program Manager.
- Travel to follow up on work and attend meetings when requested.
- Attend regular meetings with direct managers, subordinates, and relevant colleagues to discuss updates.
- Perform basic administrative tasks in coordination with the HR department, such as updating job descriptions, performance evaluations, capacity-building plans, attendance follow-up, recruitment processes within the department, and supporting HR coordination to ensure team compliance and motivation.
