Syrian NGO Alliance’s Statement about the bombardment that Targeted Al – Bab City

Another sad day is added to the Syrian people’s suffering amid the global silence to the crimes being committed by the conflicting sides against Syrian civilians , whereas Al – Bab city was targeted on 19th of August for the second time , within less than 7 months , with several missiles that targeted a local market which is considered the destination of civilians and merchants . The bombardment resulted in more than 14 martyrs , including five children and more than 35 wounded according to medical and media sources

Statement of the Syrian NGO Alliance on UN Security Council Resolution 2642

On July 12, 2022, the Security Council voted again on the resolution on cross-border humanitarian aid for only six months. While the adoption of this resolution ensures the continued delivery of humanitarian assistance for an additional period, making the resolution limited by only six months is a highly disappointing decision toward the humanitarian response to the catastrophic situation that local organizations are working to respond to by meeting the enormous needs of the population in northwest Syria.
