Ahmed and his family began working in making mosaic panels in 2015. This profession, which they inherited from their ancestors decades ago, requires a lot of patience, and often several people take turns for a week or more to make a complete and expressive painting.
This amazing and beautiful profession is the only source of income for Ahmed and his family, who have suffered great difficulties despite all the effort and love they give to this profession. Shipping and discharging are not what they were before, and people’s interest in general in this art has gradually decreased with the poor living conditions in northern Syria and the different priorities.
