ATAA Humanitarian Relief Association launched its mobile veterinary clinics as part of a project to support the breeders of livestock in the regions of Northern Syria in order to provide livestock medical services. This project has been ongoing since the beginning of 2020.
According to the project manager, Khaled Al-Kelani, the project aims to support the resilience of the affected 15,000 families who are livestock keepers, by providing focused feed and mobile veterinary clinics that provide check-ups, vaccines, treatments and guidance services that are needed to care for the livestock.
Al-Kilani pointed out the importance of the project, which improves the food security of the target families and increases the livelihood opportunities for families affected by conflict, and he noted that the project services work to increase the productivity of livestock and maintain their health and safety as assets that the breeders depend on as their source of income.
It is worth mentioning that the ATAA Association continues to provide its services to livestock keepers in the north of Syrian as part of various development projects since its start in 2013.
