ATAA Humanitarian Relief Association launched “Ata'” magazine, which targets children from 6 to 13 years old in northern Syria and Turkey, in order to build the child’s personality and develop his skills. The idea of establishing the magazine began due to the difficult conditions children live in due to the war, and the lack of targeted children’s magazines in Syrian squares and educational materials that support the educational process. In addition, there is an urgent need to raise and educate the child and inculcate positive values in light of the difficult reality imposed by the war. Most of the supporters are directed to support relief projects for children in return for neglecting educational projects. The magazine increases the capabilities of the child in several areas, the most important of which are educational, cultural, skill and educational, in addition to entertainment, and targets children in the regions of northern Syria and Turkey. The number of copies distributed reached 800,000 magazines, and 24 issues were issued in addition to the trial edition. All copies were distributed free of charge to children, and they are issued once every three months. The magazine was designed for several specific goals, firstly to educate and educate children and young people through the different knowledge materials and values offered by the magazine, and the second reason is to build the child’s positive and open personality to society and related to his history, civilizations and language, in addition to developing the child’s culture in various aspects of life through the multiplicity of literary and scientific knowledge visual provided to him. As for the third reason, it is concerned with the psychological aspect of the child by presenting his problems, discussing their causes, publishing appropriate interesting and recreational materials, and developing the child’s various creative intellectual and motor skills. In addition to promoting the positive values of the child by publishing the values espoused by the magazine and the noble values of the parent association launched by the association.
