Young Ahmed Mohammed came to “Ataa Specialist Centre to rehabilitate spinal cord damage” in a terrible state, paralysed and dependent on people for all his private work, having fallen from the third floor while working with wood carpentry.
Now “Mhemed” is a flame of hope, facing his impairment with patience, overcoming his impairment with will and hope, relying on himself, walking alone up to one kilometre, after being treated at the Ataa Medical Center and integrated into society.
The Ataa Specialist Spinal Cord Injury Center , a specialized center for patients with spinal cord harm, traumatic brain injury and cerebral palsy injury, has been providing free services since 2013 to refugees in the Turkish city of Reyhaniya.
