Whom will we help
Ten years of striving for those in need made us one of the largest associations working for Syrians, as we provided more than 100 million humanitarian services to those affected in Syria and Turkey by implementing more than 750 projects in various relief and service sectors. Since the establishment of the Ataa Association in 2013 in order to respond to the Syrian humanitarian crisis, the Association has adopted the principles of humanitarian work through its specialized and trained team in order to provide humanitarian services with dignity and charity.
- The 2024 Sacrifice Campaign launched by Ataa Humanitarian Relief Association aims to support families in need in northern Syria, especially in light of the difficult humanitarian conditions that the region is going through. The campaign aims to provide sacrificial meat to families affected by displacement, thus enhancing their food security and bringing joy to their hearts during Eid Al-Adha.
- Helping sacrifices to perform sacrifice and distribute meat to achieve the sufficiency that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) meant during the days of Eid for needy families.
- Distributing sacrificial meat to needy families in northern Syria to ensure that they receive sufficient food during the Eid period.
- Displaced people residing in camps in northern Syria.
- Families who do not have a breadwinner, such as widows and orphans.
- Families containing individuals with special needs.
- Newly displaced people living in uninhabited areas.
Preparations for Eid Al-Adha
Ataa Humanitarian Relief Association launched the 2024 sacrifice campaign, with the aim of providing support to the needy in the camps of northern Syria and southern Turkey for the eleventh year in a row.
This campaign comes in light of the difficult circumstances that the Syrian people are going through in areas of displacement and ongoing humanitarian crises. The campaign aims to provide sacrificial meat to families in need and share with them the joy of Eid throughout the days of the blessed Eid.
Our teams succeeded in providing sacrificial meat to reach tens of thousands during the past year alone, which contributed to sharing the joy of Eid with the people in northern Syria through our offices spread across southern Turkey and northern Syria (Sarmada – Atma – Al-Sahel – Aleppo countryside – Azaz – Jarabulus – Al-Bab – Tal Abyad) in addition to the Urfa and Hatay offices in Turkey.
Ataa Association organizes the slaughter and distribution of meat to displaced and refugee families during the days of Eid al-Adha.
It is noteworthy that Ataa Association, in its 2023 sacrificial campaign, provided sacrificial meat to thousands of needy families affected by the earthquake. Meat rations were distributed to them after the sacrificial slaughter of calves and sheep, in cooperation with its offices spread across Syria and Turkey.
